A little bit about me

I graduated from Bethune Cookman University in 2019. I have been teaching in Atlanta,Georgia for 5 years now. I’ve taught toddler through pre-K classes. I’ve also been a nanny while attending college at BCU. I believe my role as a teacher is to nurture and encourage the lifelong learning of my students. Through hands-on activities, classroom discussion, and even the use of humor, I hope to prompt students to think creatively and explore their natural curiosity. I want them to feel that no question is too silly to ask.
I am strongly committed to regularly assessing students' comfort and engagement in addition to their mastery of material. I believe that regular testing of concepts is important, but students also need to feel like confident, resilient learners.
