I’ve babysat since I was 16 years old, when I also worked childcare for
church events for a mixed group of infants-10 year olds. I also volunteered to teach kids’ Sunday school for the 3-4 year olds. In college, I worked as a rock climbing coach and summer camp coach for climbers 6-18 years old. I also babysat for a young nonverbal autistic boy. After graduating with my Bachelor’s in Communication, I worked at a farm animal sanctuary where I led tours, field trips, and scout outings. I also regularly led programs for students from an alternative school and for a group of adults with disabilities.
