I have worked in childcare since I was 14. I was a volunteer for 2 years at my local Head Start before I got my first nanny job. I continued to work as a nanny for over 10 years until I had my son six months ago. I have experience in bottle feeding, potty training, sleep training (some), baby led weaning. I have a lot of experience with newborns and toddlers specifically, but I have had all ages of children in my care. I love to go to the park, and find art projects to do. I enjoy taking my nanny kids on outings to the zoo or museums.

I love going on walks and going to the park. I enjoy taking my nanny kids to the zoo or aquarium, museums. I like doing art projects with them. I try to keep a screen-free environment, as I do with my own baby. Playing with them and talking with them, getting to know their little personalities, is always really fun!

I think the most important part to me is gaining trust; not just from my kiddos but also from their parents as well. I want the kids in my care to feel comfortable and safe when they are with me, and I want their parents to have no worries when they leave their precious little ones.

My favorite moments as a nanny is always those first milestones: walking, talking, smiling. Those are always so precious! But my most memorable moment is when I was working as a live-in nanny for this wonderful family, and I had the honor of being present while their third baby was born. I will never forget how precious that memory is to me!
