Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have been working as a nanny/babysitter since I was 12, and am now 19. Throughout my years in childcare, I have nannied for three long-term families. Two of these families have been 3-child families with children of spread out ages, so I feel comfortable with a variety of ages. For my third long-term family, I was also a tutor so I am equipped and comfortable providing academic assistance. I have also worked as a tutor for my high school, so would love yo help out any families this year. Additionally, I have babysat for families with 5 children, so I feel ready to help.

Due to my hobbies, I am a very outdoors person, so I always prioritize creating fun and unique activities outside. I love taking the kids to parks, museums, beaches, or anything to get them outside. I also love making creative/academic games, or reading with the children as I have helped previous client’s children with their reading progress.

The most important part of being a nanny is by far the impact you can have on a child. Aside from providing a safe and dependable space for parents to trust you with their children, creating a fun and enjoyable space for the kids is of utmost importance. Even families that I no longer work for, I still prioritize seeing their kids on occasion because I have built bonds with them.

One of my favorite nannying moments was baking cookies with the kids, seeing their excitement, creativity, and pride when they helped make something from start to finish made it especially meaningful.
