I’m a junior in Highschool, I’m in a family of 6, being the oldest of two brothers and a sister. I like art, soccer, going on runs, swimming, and anything outdoors. I have plenty of experience with playing with and engaging kids, watching them and keeping them safe, and being a good example and role model for them. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’m the oldest kid in a family of 6, where I’ve had to take care of babies or kids plenty of times, also babysitting for other families in the neighborhood. I’ve always enjoyed it and I know how to take care of younger ones and be a good example!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some indoor activities that were my favorite from the past are: coloring/painting, playing with toys, board games/card games, putting on a movie to watch with them, reading books, etc.

And outdoor activities: playing catch with a ball, or some type of sport, drawing with chalk, playing games like hopscotch, red light green light, tag, etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters to me most as a nanny/babysitter is the connection with the kids. Even though it might be my first time meeting them, I want them to feel comfortable with me and see me as not only a good example, but also a fun person they can spend time with safely. I wouldn’t ever want the kid to be bored or annoyed that I’m there, I would be prepared every time with some fun activities to do with them. This is all very important to me, but another thing too is knowing any rules the parent has or precautions. If the kid has allergies, I need to know. Or if they have a certain bedtime. This all is import to me as a babysitter.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments with a kid I babysat for was, playing a game of soccer with them in the backyard, we both had a lot of fun and I let him win every time haha. If he got bored of it I would bring up something else fun to do until it was his bedtime, he had a lot of fun and there wasn’t a moment where he was bored sitting doing nothing.
