The most important aspect of being a nanny is being there to guide children through their individual journeys of self and worldly discovery, to be a teacher and a student simultaneously, and to cherish this privilege by vowing to protect, empower, support, embrace, and love every child on earth equally.

My experience with special needs children...

I have special expertise working with children who are on the Autism Spectrum, as well as children who have other types of developmental, neurological and emotional, disabilities. I have been trained in ABA as well as a variety of deescalation tactics, and am trained in specific types of behavioral therapy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I became a nanny for this one young boy, he was just over a year old, (13 months). I worked with him for about a year and in that time, I was able to teach him to speak and he said his firth word while he was with me. It was such an incredible experience to witness this young boy grow up and reach so many developmental milestones right before my eyes, it was truly life changing.
