More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes over 10 years of consistent nanny experience with children of all ages, including infants and newborns. I was a dedicated family nanny for over 6 years, caring for two children from birth, who are now 17 and 20, and I still maintain a close relationship with their family. In addition to full-time care, I also provided occasional babysitting for other families, supporting with date nights and as-needed care. My responsibilities included school pick-ups and drop-offs, transportation to after-school activities, meal preparation, and light housekeeping such as laundry. I focused on creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment while supporting each child’s development. I also have experience caring for the elderly, which has strengthened my patience, attentiveness, and compassion.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing a variety of activities with children depending on their age and interests. I like engaging them in outdoor play, arts and crafts, reading, and educational activities that support their development. I also enjoy helping with homework, creating fun learning moments, and encouraging creativity. For younger children, I focus on interactive play and routines, while with older kids I enjoy activities like games, outings, and supporting their hobbies. My goal is always to create a fun, safe, and positive environment where children feel comfortable and supported.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and trustworthy environment for the children while also building a strong relationship with the family. I believe it’s important to support each child’s growth, maintain consistency with routines, and communicate openly with parents. Being dependable, patient, and genuinely caring makes a big difference in helping children feel comfortable, supported, and able to thrive.
My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs children includes providing attentive and patient care tailored to each child’s individual needs. I have supported children with different abilities by maintaining routines, encouraging positive behavior, and creating a safe and supportive environment. I focus on clear communication, patience, and understanding to help each child feel comfortable and confident. My background in both childcare and elderly caregiving has strengthened my ability to be adaptable, compassionate, and attentive.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment has been watching the children I cared for grow up over the years. I started caring for them as newborns, and now they are 17 and 20, which is really special to me. I was there for so many important milestones, including their games, school events, and even their graduations. I attended the oldest child’s high school graduation. Being part of those moments and still having a close relationship with them and their family means a lot to me.

Part-Time Nanny Available in The Woodlands, TX: Micheala G.
Hi, I’m Micheala and I’ve been working with kids for quite a while now. I’ve been volunteering in kids ministry since I was 13 years old and I am now 19. Since then, I’ve been babysitting for many different families and continuing to work in the church. I currently teach Awana Cubbies on Wednesday nights and occasionally babysit when I’m available. I would like to invest more in a family and their children and make nannying a full time position.
