I did work at a daycare in Arizona when living out there for two years. If any interest I’d be more than happy to share their contact information. Other than that it’s has been more hands on with my sister and brother’s children all different ages ranging from 2-16.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Indoor activities would always be to read or draw maybe paint if allowed. board games I would possibly bring with me or maybe something they just wanted to do. Outdoor activities bike riding, parks , museums, exploring for scenery.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Is caring not just for them but physically mentally emotionally like you would your own. And as that relationship grows help perfect them into the best version of themselves. Last but not least have fun and create a bond not just with the children but the parents too! It takes a village and just remember It’s their world we’re just living in it.🥰
My experience with special needs children...
I worked for a family who had twins and they were both special needs boy and girl. I loved how amazing of a connection was there for both parties. They were 4 at the time I started and stayed with them for 2 almost 3years, The family ended up moving to Texas to be with more family.🫶🏽 If you have any specific questions please feel free to ask I don’t mind answering.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite and funny moment was when I was nannying for a family for four, we went to the trampoline place and as we’re all jumping it turns out they were doing a dance battle event. 😂 We all danced while jumping it was so funny to see they could all basically do it I had to stop dance and jump again ahah it was just so fun! To see the smile on their faces were priceless
