Working with special needs children has truly changed the way I see the world. Each child has their own way of learning, expressing love, and connecting — and being part of that growth is something I’ll always cherish. I’ve learned to slow down, listen more, and find creative ways to communicate. The joy that comes from seeing a child make progress or light up when they accomplish something is one of the most rewarding feelings I’ve ever experienced.

My favorite nanny moment was seeing the children’s growth over time — especially when they accomplished something we had been practicing together. Whether it was mastering a new routine or showing kindness to a sibling, watching those moments of progress made me realize how rewarding it is to help guide and nurture young minds.
