This one time my host kid Baxter 5 years old was asking me about where my dad was and I told him that he died ( FYI my host mom Lisa already spoke to him about it to make him understand about death and have had discussion if it’s okay and she was okay with it ) and he said that he could share his dad with me . It warmed my heart. Kids have a way of always reminding us to look the brighter side and I’m grateful for that experience
