More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have a wonderful mix of experiences that make me a very well-rounded nanny. I have worked as a nanny in private households since I was fifteen years old, though a good deal of my professional childcare experience has been in child development centers and laboratories, giving me a unique developmental background and strength in my early childhood approach as a nanny. I also have a B.A. in elementary education from the top program in the nation and have been able to use my teaching experience as a foundation while working with elementary-age children, or even structuring early-childhood curriculums and assisting in math/literacy development. I also have experience working in research and presenting my own research on educational psychology and developmental topics. I have been able to apply all these experiences to my most recent full-time nanny positions and I have found my experience to drive a wildly positive experience for both the children and the parents that I work for!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
For babies, I do a lot to help them reach their milestones. I create very simple activities that keep them engaged and curious about the world around them!
I like to play with young children and toddlers in ways that are meaningful to them- letting them help cook, run errands, draw maps, etc. As well as having lots of fun playing with water, going to museums and parks, setting up playdates, and lots more.
With older children, I like to encourage them to learn new skills and sports with me. We often run errands together, go to the pool, play games, and work on homework!

Babysitter Available in San Francisco, CA: Megan B.
Hi! I’m a former corporate marketing professional who is excited to spend more time doing work I truly enjoy: caring for kids and helping families. I have 8 years of experience as a camp counselor and have also cared for my niece since she was a baby. I love reading, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and encouraging kids’ learning and creativity without relying on screens. I’m also happy to help with light housekeeping, meal prep, laundry, organization, and pet care. I’m hoping to find a family I can support long-term and become a reliable part of their routine.

Hello Family,
My name is Silvia Seleny and as an early childhood educator, I bring genuine vocation, empathy, and a deep commitment to respectful parenting and children's holistic development. My goal is always to help each child reach their full potential across every stage of growth, from infancy to preschool.
