I have many favorite moments from the Boys & Girls Club! One that stands out to me is when a 6 year old girl and I were doing a craft and talking. She said that when she comes to the Boys & Girls Club and sees me, she always feels safe and happy. It was a moment that really touched me and made me realize that my job means a lot more to these kids than I ever could have imagined. The Boys & Girls Club is a space for the kids to feel safe, comfortable, and to have fun. And I am very glad that I was able to create an environment like that for them.
