Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

When I was thirteen, my youngest sister was born. My mother owned her own business and as a result needed to go back to work two days after giving birth. As a homeschooled teenager, I cared for my sister in the mornings and did my schoolwork in the evenings until I began working full time myself. This was a precious moment in my life that helped me discover my love of caring for children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

As someone who was once a visual arts major with the intention of becoming an elementary school art teacher, arts and crafts are certainly my favorite activity!

I believe the most important part about being a nanny is the deep and personal connection you have the opportunity to make with children and their families.

My experience with special needs children...

I do not possess extensive experience with special needs children. I have worked with a child with autism at a daycare for a short period of time, as well as volunteered at a special needs high school classroom as a teenager, however I do not believe that alone qualifies me! Despite that, I am always willing to learn granted the proper resources are provided.
