It’s not just about supervision—it’s about building a genuine connection, supporting their growth, and helping them feel confident in who they are. Knowing that I can positively impact a child’s day, even in the smallest ways, is what makes this role so meaningful to me.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when I cared for a shy little girl who had a hard time expressing herself and often felt overwhelmed. I started incorporating small art projects into our daily routine, and one day I encouraged her to create a “feelings board” using colors, drawings, and stickers to show how she felt. Over time, she began opening up more and even started talking through her emotions with me while we worked together.
A few weeks later, her parent told me they noticed a big change in her confidence and communication at home. Seeing her grow, smile more, and feel understood was incredibly rewarding, and it reminded me why I truly love what I do.
