I have worked at two summer camps! At Camp Sinai, a day camp where I was with the pre school aged group where I began to help kids to read, speak (shy), and come out of their shell! I earned counselors of the week. I have also worked at Camp Danbee, an all girls sleep away camp where I was the counselor for 6-8 year olds and taught ceramics to girls aged 9-15.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love nature, and I love educating on nature! Bird watching is my biggest hobby, and I love to educate people on what species they’re seeing. Baton Rouge is home to so many different birds, even in your own backyard you would never guess what you can find! During my camp counselor days I would also spend my time doing arts and crafts with campers. I can draw with your child, make bracelets with them, really anything from collage to crochet! We could also bake together, I have tons of child friendly recipes for all ages we could try together!
