I enjoy creating a variety of engaging indoor and outdoor activities with the children I care for. Indoors, I like playing board games 🎲, doing interactive learning videos, watching family-friendly movies 🎬, completing learning assessments, and having creative paint time 🎨. I also love arts and crafts activities that can be tailored to the child’s interests or seasonal/holiday themes. For example, during St. Patrick’s Day ☘️, we created leprechaun traps, glittery gold coins, and a homemade pot of gold with a rainbow 🌈.
Outdoor activities are just as important for learning and fun. I enjoy playing kickball ⚽, tag, scavenger hunts 🔍, bubble play 🫧, obstacle courses, sidewalk chalk art 🖍️, nature walks 🌿, and simple sports like catch or relay races. I also like incorporating imaginative outdoor play that encourages teamwork, movement, and creativity.

My favorite nanny moments are finding interactive games like Simon Says and Red Light, Green Light and seeing my kiddos have so much fun 😊. I also love when they get excited during learning games, arts and crafts, or pretend play because it shows their creativity and confidence growing. Moments like helping them learn something new, hearing their laughter during outdoor play, and watching them proudly complete an activity are what make nannying so rewarding for me.
