Most important part about being a nanny is showing up and being dependable. Someone that families, both children and parents, love, and feel safe with in every aspect.

My experience with special needs children...

I have hands-on, personal experience caring for two of my nieces and nephews who have special needs. I regularly assist with their daily routines, including showering, applying lotion, hair care, meal prep, feeding, and helping them safely in and out of the car. I also support them with walking, mobility, and navigating public spaces. This experience has taught me patience, compassion, and how to adapt to each child’s individual needs with love and consistency.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was an overnight nanny for a wonderful family with one little girl, but during the day, I was also their child’s daycare teacher at a facility (that’s how we met). One week I took the entire 7 day week off to go out of town with my family for a trip, and when I returned and walked back in the house and she seen me for the first time after that week, she raan to me and hugged me so tight. She wanted to spend the whole day with me doing stuffie parties and games, and showing me that she felt like she got taller lol. Showing me that kind of love and that she missed me that much was the most rewarding experience that I never forgot and keeps me wanting grow in this industry
