I enjoy going to the park or even the zoo. I have found engaging actives such as crafts and small productions can be a fun way to stimulate their brains. For older children I am more than happy to go on lunch runs and go to the movie theaters. I just enjoy finding activists that they will enjoy and want to participate in.

The most important part is the relationship between nanny/sitter and the kids. When there is a solid foundation then being a sitter is not as much a job but caring for a child you do truly care for.

Once I was with a summer camp group at the aquarium and the kids were enraptured with the walk through tunnel and large window. It was so much fun watching them trying to identify the sea life and enjoy something I loved as a child swell.
