I think a great nanny is someone who is nurturing, dependable, patient, and genuinely invested in a child’s well-being and development. A great nanny creates a safe and supportive environment while also bringing structure, consistency, and positive energy into a family’s daily routine. I believe communication is also extremely important, both with children and parents, so everyone feels comfortable, respected, and on the same page.
I also think great nannies are adaptable and attentive to each child’s individual personality and needs. Beyond supervision, they help children grow emotionally, socially, and academically through encouragement, creativity, and meaningful interaction. Most importantly, I believe a great nanny becomes a trusted and reliable presence that families can feel confident depending on.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment would be graduating at the same time with the first child I nannied for. He came to my high-school graduation and I went to his kindergarten graduation the next day.
