A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Tori and I’m 19 years old. I am currently in my 2nd year of college, studying to become a nurse. My dream job is to become a Travel Nurse. I have 1 year of professional experience of being a babysitter/nanny, however, I have been a babysitter for 4 years.

My availability are Tuesdays and Wednesdays 4:00PM-12:00AM, Fridays from 5PM-12AM. Saturdays and Sundays from 3PM-10PM. I do have a family I babysit for every Tuesday and Thursday, so I will not have any availability during those days.

I have experience with ages 7 months and up, and I am especially good with toddlers and school-age kiddos. I can provide my resume and plenty of references if need be.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked for a Nanny/Caregiving agency for a year, and worked with all age groups.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy playing games indoors, such has hide and seek, doing little science experiments, and learning time if needed. I also enjoy outdoor activities with kids, such has going to the park, riding bikes and just walking around keeping children engaged.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters to me most about being a nanny, is to make sure each child is comfortable and having fun.

My experience with special needs children...

I have only had one experience with a children with special needs. One of the kiddos was autistic and non-verbal while the other had ADHD. I spent a day babysitting for the family, and I was able to effectively communicate with each kid and we had a blast!

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moment has a nanny, was being able to watch a child I had be nannying for grow from crawling, to then sitting and eventually walking. I have to say though, the funniest stage was when he was just learning to walk, and he found it funny to randomly stop walking and trust fall. Although, that wasn’t funny to me or his parents, he found it hilarious so we had no choice be to laugh along each time. He obviously learned mama and dada will not always be there to catch him, and eventually he grew out of the habit.
