Over the past two summers, I have worked as a camp counselor, caring for kids of various ages. I have also worked with kids while volunteering at a pediatric center. Lastly, I have experience helping out middle schoolers with studying and homework.

I love working on arts & crafts with kids as it allows them to exercise their brains in a fun way! I also enjoy doing outdoor activities with kids such as sports games to keep ourselves active.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My most memorable moment with a child that I worked with as a camp counselor was encouraging a girl that was afraid of going down the pole at recess. I could see in her eyes that she really wanted to do it as she looked at the others going down with confidence. When she decided that she was going to overcome her fear, I stood at the bottom of the pole with my arms out letting her know that I will be there for her and I won't let her fall. This eased her fear and after many tries, she was able to go down the pole by herself! I was so happy for her and celebrated with her as she hugged me and expressed her gratitude for her overcoming her fear.
