A little bit about me

I grew up on a melon farm on Colorado and went on to graduate from Luther College in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology. I really enjoyed learning about motor development as children grow older, and I pick from my work experiences to help facilitate functional development in children through play and laughter. I was the oldest child in my family, and was always taking care of and playing with little cousins, nieces, and nephews during family events. I have also worked as a paraprofessional educator at Carrie Lee Elementary School in Decorah. During the day currently, I am a personal trainer. Both of these occupations have given me a ton of experience guiding both kids and adults through tasks, and in nutrition/meal prepping as well. I am CPI certified, meaning I specialize in nonviolent crisis intervention and can help calm kids down when upset.
