I love coming up with new and creative things for kids to do. A few things I did while a daycare teacher were making playdough, sand, building things out of blocks, coloring, and creating new games with the children's rules.

The most important part of being a nanny is building a relationship with the children and the parents. Children need connections to feel safe, loved, and understood. Most of the time you cannot have a successful relationship with the family without the trust that you are doing exactly what you said.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked in a daycare that had multiple different special needs children. Some of these children were autistic and others had learning disabilities.
