I helped my aunt take care of a rather intelligent little girl. We were sitting down and she was playing on her tablet when all of a sudden she asked me what a poem was. Me who writes poetry and a psych major was baffled by such a simple question. It definitely made me appreciate children's ways of thinking. They are actually smarter than they let on.
