I have a degree in Elementary Education and one year of teaching experience at the third grade level. I regularly volunteer in my church's nursery, caring for children under 1 year old.

I belive that it's incrediblty important to build independence and confidence in children's basic life skills from an early age. I love including children in activities like cooking, basic cleaning, dressing themselves, and making their beds. Implementing these skills early on builds autonomy and confidence as well as fine and gross motor skills.
I love getting children outside as much as possible, whether that be in a backyard, local parks, or adventuring to walking trails.
