My experience with special needs children...
I began working with children with special needs while I was in high school. Later in life, I welcomed a woman with epilepsy and mild disabilities into our home for 30 years.
The most important part about being a nanny...
So many special moments over the years. The relationships I formed are the ones that stick in my mind. Remaining friends with the children and families long after they outgrew my preschool program and as they grew. Being invited to the weddings of the children that were once in my care was extremely special.
