A little bit about me

Hi! I have over 10 years of experience as a nanny, 7 of those years were with one family. I am now the mother of a one year old, and have been working as a lead teacher of a two year old and toddler combined class at a preschool. I would like to add that I’m interested in a nanny share, and in my case that would mean bringing my 16 month old with me. I love being a caregiver! I enjoy cooking and baking, that’s my artistic outlet, I get to create! With the little ones I like doing art projects and experiments, exploring and discovering (this could be in the backyard or the kitchen), reading, singing, dancing, and learning through play! I am originally from Colorado and came to Texas with a family that I was a nanny for. As of July I will have been in the Austin area for 8 years. Family is so important to me, I grew up in a small town with so many family members living nearby and that is the foundation of who I am. I received my second covid vaccine in April of this year

"Trista moved in when my daughters were 2 & 14 months & helped raised them for over 7 years. She became a loved member of our family & always will be. She’s extremely trustworthy, flexible, reliable, responsible & loving. Trista moved with our family a few times, traveled with us all over & cared for the girls while we traveled. I never worried when my girls were in her care & always knew they would be loved, taken care of better than I could & entertained. Trista constantly found interesting & inexpensive things to do with the girls. She’d explore the city, take them to new parks, museums, hiking trails & a myriad of fun and educational experiences. At home, she taught them values, cooked, created with & nurtured them. On many occasions, they’d sneak across the hall into her room to cuddle.
