More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My first job as a babysitter was in my neighborhood starting around age 12 and I also worked for the city at kids camps as a counselor while a teenager. I enjoyed volunteering with youth groups into my adulthood and later at my children’s schools as room parent, yard duty and in the library. I also coached both of my kids sports in softball & volleyball as was fortunate to have been at home with my children and was the Mom who was trusted to give rides or bring my kids friends to our house for play dates etc. Both of my children have obtained professional degrees as my daughter is in the field of dentistry and my son is in the field of law.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy the challenge of helping parents of babies reach the milestone development moments! I also love being outside connecting with nature as there is much to learn about the earth and our environment by bringing in science and mathematics. Places like the beach or museums and parks are my favorite along with riding bikes, walking, playing sports etc. I also like listening to various types of music and playing different instruments like the piano with children. Art is also one of my creative outlets that has no boundaries!
I have also given chef lessons along with baking parties! And candy making, gift wrapping and have taught children how to cook a gourmet meal for their parents. This can start at any age from toddlers to pre teens!

The most important part about being a nanny...
I want to make a positive difference in a family to relieve the parents or just being an extra set of hands to make their home life a happy one where focus on their work is easier or just to give parents the assurance of trust that I will handle their child’s needs so they can renew some energy. I am instinctual at solving immediate issues that can come up with infants and children of all ages and I like to be there as a support to parents to help them through the various stages their child’s growth. The most important part about being a Nanny for me is to feel very good about connecting with the babies, or children and making them feel loved, protected and understood. I thrive on being task oriented in your home and a valuable helping hand in your child’s development.
