More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Ive previously worked as nanny for 4 different families, 3 of whom were children 4m-4yrs. Additionally 2 out of the 4 families, were 2child homes, working with 2 infants at once. I have worked at an early intervention center working with toddlers with autism ages 2-3. And lastly I’ve worked at 2 daycare centers as an assistant Infant Teacher, ages 3m-1yr.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
My favorite activities are hands on activities, I love water play, sensory bins and baking together (this includes children of all ages) but really I love taking walks. I love going to parks like prospect and Central Park, exploring new places for their little minds. I love going to the beach, whether it’s just walks on the boardwalk or playing in the sand.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I Believe that children should be raised by a team, the most important part about being a nanny is being loving, nurturing and creating a safe space for kids to grow. My goal is to keep all children in my care healthy, safe and engaged with educational exploratory activities and more!
My experience with special needs children...
Previously I have worked as an Applied Behavioral Analyst (ABA) at an early intervention for toddlers on the autism spectrum. Working with the low functioning autistic patients, requires lots of patience and time, teaching them appropriate social skills, fine motor skills and coping/ desensitization techniques.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my top favorite 3 favorite nanny moments would definitely be taking a 3 year old child in my care to the beach for the first time. To see such joy and excitement, watching him explore and create new memories!!
