Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy making creative games/"messy" play. Going for nature walks, and the park. Beach/pool days in the summer are always on my list! Reading some good interactive books. But most of all creating not only a comforting environment, but a fun silly place where kids can just be kids!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part about being a nanny is being more than a caregiver, but to be a friend and a comfort to both child and parents. Being a nanny to me is about becoming apart of a family in a positive way. Being present is such an important thing for not only stability for the children, but to put ease on the parents knowing their babies are safe when they aren't around!
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my many favorite nanny moments definitely has to be while I was caring for my previous nanny family (two boys, 1 and 8). They invited me to their family trip to Mexico, and while on that trip not only did I feel apart of their family even more. But while on said trip, I really got to be involved with the boys just one on one. It brought me so much closer to them, and just being with them from right when we woke up until we went to sleep was just such a blessing! We made countless amount of memories like, playing in the ocean, eating dinner together, playing on the water park, and so many snuggles! It truly is a big memory I will never forget!
