A little bit about me

My name is Tyra Neal I'm 27 and living in Brooklyn. Growing up with several siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews I've always had the responsibility and joy of looking out for others or helping around the house and learning the value of taking care of one another. On a personal level, I have always connected with people. I am loving, outgoing, kind, smart, and always the class clown! So naturally, when I entered my 20s it dawned on me that I couldn't just waste away behind a desk, I needed to be around people and to help people. So at 22, I applied to be a caretaker for youth and young adults with mental disabilities such as autism, down syndrome, or even schizophrenia. I did this for 2 years and it changed my life. I've taken what I've learned through that job and applied it in my everyday life but nothing has replaced that feeling and connection I had and so I find myself here looking for a nanny position where I can connect and care for an individual in need and share my gifts.
