A little bit about me

I am a stay-at-home wife and mother with a passion for child development and caring for children. I have a 2-year-old son who I would love to bring with me while working. I enjoy creating a safe, patient, fun, and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. I hope to find an amazing family to work for.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have experience caring for children through both daycare and nanny positions. While attending Hofstra University, I worked at a daycare caring for young children in a safe and engaging environment. I also worked as a summer nanny for a family and later as a part-time nanny for a working mother. My responsibilities included changing diapers, preparing and serving meals, outdoor activities, reading books, organizing interactive playtime, and helping with nap time routines. I truly enjoy working with children and supporting their growth and development.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing fun and educational activities with children that support learning and development. Some activities I enjoy include going to the library for children’s learning time, reading books together, doing hands-on activities, and going for walks. I love creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment where children can learn, explore, and grow. I do these activities on a daily basis with my own son who is currently 2 years old.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important thing to me about being a nanny is making sure children feel listened to, loved, and safe. Children are human beings with real thoughts, emotions, and feelings, and they deserve patience, care, and understanding. I believe child development is extremely important because the skills they learn early in life help shape them as they grow into their own person.

One of my favorite parts about being a nanny is helping children articulate their thoughts and emotions. Children experience so many big feelings in such small bodies, and I always want to create a safe, positive environment where they can express and explore those feelings without negativity or judgment.
