A little bit about me

I am 28, I currently work remotely for a vacation rental company. However, I am looking to get back into child care. I was raised by a single mother and the oldest of 4 kids. From the earliest age to be able to help around the house, I did so. In addition, I started to nanny other families by 16 years old and have been taking random babysitting/nanny opportunities in between my main job. Now that I have just moved to Texas I am hopeful to find another family to help.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My first nanny experience was when I was 16. I watched a 6 month old and 7 year old pair of sisters. I then worked for another family at 18 and it was a 6 year old boy and a 7 year old girl. I then took random jobs baby sitting here and there from ages of 1 year old to 9 years old. In Florida, I was a nanny for a 6 month old baby and worked with them up until she was 1.5 and now I just help out single moms, dads or date night whenever they need help!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Definitely crafts and outdoor activities. I also love to help teach kids new things such as homework, music, motor skills etc

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is being apart of a child’s growth. Teaching a toddler how to operate things and seeing them implement it is truly such an amazing feeling for any nanny. Watching any child we have influence on grow it’s a beautiful thing.
