Hi!! My name is Val, I’m 22 years old. I’m currently working/helping in my family’s business in Elgin. While I’m new to professional child care, I’ve had the opportunity of being around kids for most of my life. I have a younger sister and 2 younger cousins. I was blessed with the opportunity of working for my mom’s friend and care for her children for 3 years. Growing up around them gave me the experience of what it’s like to care for a child as well as the enjoyment of spending time with them. I’m a very energetic person, I enjoy going outdoors, physical activities, arts and crafts. I cook and bake which can be applied to meal prepping/planning. I enjoy being active during my day but I appreciate a quiet, relaxing environment. I love reading and movies. Regarding parents, I’m able to help around the house by cleaning and organizing whatever is necessary. I look forward to providing a fun and safe environment for the kids as well as a trusting one for the parents!
