Hi! My name is Valeria and I am a junior at UF. I used to be a kids soccer coach in Miami last year. I am a firm believer that anyone can make a big impact in a child's life and in my soccer coaching career I made sure to reinforce having fun, being respectful to others, working hard, speaking up for what is right, and becoming the best versions of themselves (I am big on reinforcing confidence and bravery in girls in both sports and school). In addition, being in one of the last generations growing up without iPads and phones, I know the importance of having kids have their no-tech time to enjoy their childhood, learn their physical abilities in sports and artistic talents, and overall de-stress from the daily intake of mass information on social media.
