Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a junior coach for 3–5 year olds every Thursday for a year, which was such a fun and rewarding experience. I also often babysat my younger cousins when their mom needed help, and at school, I was one of a few students chosen to help walk elementary kids safely from their classrooms to their cars. I’ve always enjoyed being someone younger kids can look up to and feel safe around.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Inside, I love reading stories, doing arts and crafts, and having dance parties to get some energy out. When we’re outside, I enjoy playing tag, drawing with sidewalk chalk, and going on little nature walks or scavenger hunts. Whether we’re being active or getting creative, I always try to make sure the kids are engaged and having fun.
