Growing up on Long Island, NY, being the oldest, I’d taken responsibility for babysitting my younger brother occasionally—but nothing could have prepared me for moving to Brownsville, Texas, where I met my extended family. I quickly learned everyone’s names, and became fast friends with my cousins—all eleven of them—and as one of the oldest, fancied myself ‘the organizer’, lining the cousins up for games. I cherish those, and know some of my most important family times came from them. I left for Northwestern when I was 17, then moved to NYC. I became considered one of the top experts in my field & traveled internationally. I moved to Austin after finding my mother a bit older, and realize this is where I want to be. I’m an entrepreneur, making my name here. I have time to spend with kids—takes me back to my childhood, and would like to be considered someone you’d entrust your children with. I have traveled extensively—very much see that an advantage in the consideration process.
