Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I used to babysit my brother a lot when he was 3 to around 8. Then I used to watch my step siblings. They were 2, 5, 11, and 14. Me and the 14 year old were the same age, but he still needed some extra help. I also used to help out with my mom's friends kids.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I really just like hearing about what they're interested in because I find it cool how excited they get about things. I'm open to trying different things depending on what is age appropriate and they are interested in
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think being there emotionally for the kids matter the most because when they're younger, they're still learning and they're so much more vulnerable so you really need to make sure you're helping with their development and making sure they feel safe and heard. I think it's really fun seeing them learn more things and just getting to be apart in such an important stage of their lives
My experience with special needs children...
I used to help my step brother when he was 14. He had severe autism and was occasionally violent but all he needed was people to be patient and calm. He was always really sweet though other than a few incidents that he couldn't quite control
