A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Vera, I am originally from Pennsylvania, I studied Education Studies and Sociology in Washington DC, and I am currently in Australia finishing my final semester of undergrad!

I have experience nannying and babysitting for newborns, toddlers, and older children, and I have the most experience with the little ones. I have nannied and babysat for families with kids aged 7 months to 14 years, but the primary age has been between 1.5-5. I have also worked at a program called Jumpstart that focuses on preparing 3-5-year-olds for kindergarten, through reading and intentional play!
Additionally, I volunteered at a program called DC Reads that provided after school care and homework help for underprivileged youth. I was also a photographer and educational float for a summer camp last year (ranging in ages from 5-14). I could step in as an instructor when needed (for woodworking, sewing, design, and build, etc.).
