Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

well as a mother grandmother aunt cousin Ive done my share of caring for children. in school as well. I've also babysat my godchildren and friends children. had job experiences as a teacher aide and nanny aide at a daycare. I love kids. So I've always been every ones go to when they wanted a spot to leave thier kids. I personally am a mother of five. With two stepkids. But all in all ive raised 21 kids. My children,stepchildren,some adopted, and my godkids and friends kids. Also am a grandmother to 10 babies. So yea. People often tease that im the little lady

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I'm open to whatever the child is into as long as approved by the parents of course. I enjoying making the kids happy and if they can learn from it too that's a plus. I like a lot of hands on activities so the kids get that learning experience if allowed of course. I do follow expectations and desires of the parents first and out most.

The most important part about being a nanny...

is getting the chance to be around kids again. my children are grown and out of state. so its just me. I think it's a good opportunity to help the parents as well.

My experience with special needs children...

the only kind of experience is when I was in school. we had to help them around and all that. keep them company. then through my years anything just learned as I go. everyone's different so what might work for one might not work on someone else. so I'm quick to learn and adapt. we make it work for the child's sake.

The most important part about being a nanny...

is seeing a child's excitement that they accomplished something that I specifically worked on with them doing. I love that. I love when the kids are excited to have me around and to learn something interesting and new. I like to keep it moving. Came conquer and moving on so to speak. Learning should be fun and exciting. I love teaching. I just would like it that i made a difference. I helped. Leave a lasting memory. Good memorys with the favorite cool babysitter. (LoL)
