Safety is, of course, the most important part of watching children. The wellbeing of the kids comes first and foremost in absolutely any situation, even if it ruins the fun. However, when safety is accounted for, it's important to make sure that they're having fun! Fun activities can teach lessons and help the child be the best version of themselves!

A group of children I was watching put on a miniature play of a series of stories that I had been making up as bedtime stories. They retold the tale of the fairies and bugs working together to rescue a king, complete with costumes and props! It was a blast!
