A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Veronica and studied Psychology and Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from the University of Colorado Boulder. I’ve worked with children of all ages in home, school, clinic and care settings including as an intern at CU’s Children’s Center with infants to preschoolers, and at University Hill Elementary supporting 3rd grade students, many of whom were English language learners. I have experience working with children and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through my role as a Program Counselor at Imagine!, where I followed behavior plans and supported daily routines and a direct service provider where I provide 1 on 1 sessions targeting each child’s goals created by a BCBA. I’m CPR + First Aid certified, calm, dependable, and great at adapting to each child’s needs. I’m also planning to further my education to become a pediatric Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and I love gaining hands-on experience supporting children’s growth.
