I also helped out as a child care volunteer at my church during service times. I also worked as a volunteer in the classrooms of different families I nannied for. As well as an art docent for one of nanny child’s kindergarten class.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked for a couple autistic kids from the age 2 to 16. All autistic children were verbal with differing abilities. I also worked with one child who had Sanfilippo syndrome. She was nonverbal and non-mobile.
