More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’m an experienced educator and childcare professional with a strong background caring for and teaching children from infancy through high school. I’ve planned and led age-appropriate activities, supported social-emotional development and early learning, and created positive routines and welcoming environments where children feel safe and confident.
I understand that every child learns, communicates, and develops differently, and I enjoy getting to know each child’s personality, interests, and needs while finding meaningful ways to help them grow and thrive.
I’m warm, patient, creative, organized, and dependable. I enjoy reading, arts and crafts, imaginative and hands-on play, outdoor activities, and creating a balance of fun, learning, and structure while building meaningful relationships with children and families.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love activities that give kids a chance to be creative, curious, and active! Some of my favorites are reading together, arts and crafts, imaginative play, baking or simple cooking projects, games, puzzles, and hands-on learning activities. I also enjoy getting outside for walks, playground trips, nature activities, and exploring parks, libraries, museums, and community events. With my teaching background, I’m also happy to help with homework, reading practice, school projects, and other learning needs in a way that feels encouraging rather than stressful. I love following a child’s interests and finding ways to make everyday activities fun and engaging!
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with neurodivergent kids and children with different learning, developmental, and support needs. One of the things I really value is taking the time to get to know each child and understand how they communicate, learn, and feel most comfortable. I’m patient, flexible, and happy to adjust activities, routines, or expectations based on what works best for them. Most importantly, I want kids to feel safe, supported, understood, and confident being exactly who they are.

I’m very familiar with making crafts for kids, accommodating to kids needs, preparing light snacks, helping kids with their homework, and doing clean up. I am a college student so there are only certain days I can work due to my schooling schedule.
