A little bit about me

I babysat my neighbor when he was 3 years old, at the time he wasn't speaking. A couple years later after he started school he stopped in the parking lot to ask me when I would be his babysitter again :) I had the delight of babysitting him and his baby sister. When I was younger, I took care of a family friend's infant. I read to her all the time, and apparently she now loves reading. I love to play games, speak gibberish if the kid feels inclined, and explore parks and outdoors. I am stern and will not tolerate misbehavior, but would never strike or yell at a child. If they are yelling, they can go to their room to calm down and whenever they're ready to talk I'm there to listen. I stick to routines well, make great sandwiches, and believe in health conversations around difficult topics.
