I have experience with kids who have seizures, muscle deterioration, non verbal, non walking. ADHD and Autism.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when I was playing with an autistic boy who was mildly on the spectrum. Being able to bring him out of his shell and get him to play with me only took a couple of visits. Next thing I know we were playing hide and sick, making flowers out of play doh and creating characters out of arts and crafts supplies. His mom was very happy with my services and started requesting that I come more often as he was opening up and having fun(:
