Hello! My name is Willow.
I have spent my entire life around kids and have been nannying professionally since August of 2018. My experience is largely with children under 3, however I have worked with all ages.
Building relationships with families based on communication and a desire for learning has always been my goal. Including but not limited to a safe and creative environment for kids to be themselves.

** I am currently working in an office position but have come to the conclusion that my calling is to care for children. This career side step was to gain experience in alternative fields. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am the oldest of four siblings and have several younger cousins. As a teenager and young adult I babysat for multiple families. My professional nannying experience started with the Brooks family (ages 0-5) in August of 2018 through August of 2023, and continued with the Shane family October of 2023 through September of 2025. I have also been part of the Snappy Sitters team since the summer of 2023.

The most important part about being a nanny...

..to me is working with parents and other caregivers to establish a space for children that is safe and builds life skills.

My experience with special needs children...

I currently work part time as a Direct Support Professional and In-Home Caregiver for those who have intellectual or developmental disabilities and/or physical assistance needs that are outside the scope of “standard”. This includes children and adults.
Caring for people takes empathy and patience. A “special needs” diagnosis doesn’t change that. My focus is on providing the best support possible for each individual.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Anything that encourages bonding with the child(ren), be it activities they enjoy or learning a new skill. I'm also a sucker for those precious moments when babies fall asleep while being held!
