I was a teacher at 2 daycares, I worked with ages 6-12 months, 12-26 months, and more. My job was to care for all kids, make sure there diapers were changed throughly, NO runny noses, making sure all kids are sharing and being nice to friends, teaching them sign language, and also teaching them manners, making sure all kids are safe & sound. Making sure all kids are having fun, and giving all kids the same amount of attention.
