Hi, my name is Yaritza! I am 22 years old and I have been babysitting for what feels like forever. I am the oldest of four and always watched over my younger siblings. But at the age of 12 I started watching the neighbors two sons when they had date nights out. Then that progressed to my mom suggesting me to family friends all through high school. I have also worked as a special needs/ wheelchair aide on a school bus. I truly have just always had a passion for working with kids. In fact just recently i decided I want to go back to school for social work. i care for all types of children and I love coming up with new games and tasks to keep them busy throughout the day. i can cook, & although my young age might seem like a negative. it’s actually a positive, I am reliable and full of life and energy to keep up with multiple kids at once. I actually have a list in my notes on my phone of different activities to do with children; I’ll share a few with you!

*Nature Art Collage – Collect leaves, flowers, and sticks outside and glue them into patterns.
*DIY Puppets – Use socks, paper bags, or old mittens to make silly characters, then put on a puppet show.
*Cardboard Creations – Build cars, houses, or rocket ships out of cardboard boxes.
*Finger Painting- Create little painting with washable paint that we can frame or put on the refrigerator
*Freeze Dance- Play music, dance, and freeze when it stops
*Choreography Challenge- Let them create a short dance routine and perform it
*Treasure Hunt- Hide clues around the house leading to a surprise
