I like doing fun, creative things with kids like arts and crafts, drawing, and little DIY projects. I also enjoy playing games with them, going outside, and just keeping them active and entertained. I’m always down to read with them or help with homework too, and I try to make sure they’re having a good time while also feeling comfortable and cared for.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part about being a nanny is making sure the child feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. It’s not just about watching them, but really connecting with them, being patient, and creating a positive environment where they can have fun and be themselves.

My experience with special needs children...

I also have experience working with kids with special needs. I’ve been a PE helper for about a year, where I helped support my assigned students during their PE class. I assisted them with activities, made sure they felt included, and helped them stay comfortable and engaged. That experience taught me a lot about being patient, understanding, and adapting to each child’s individual needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments working with kids was when I was helping during an activity and one of the kids was really shy at first and didn’t want to join in. I stayed with them, talked to them, and slowly got them comfortable, and by the end they were smiling, laughing, and fully participating with everyone else. It was just really nice seeing them come out of their shell and feel included, and it made me realize how much small moments like that can mean.
